Hi there.
My name is Gene Murphy and I’m a writer from Co. Kerry, Ireland. My short stories, poems, and flash fiction has been published in Ireland, the UK, and the US, including Sonder, 10 By 10 Flash Fiction, and The Honest Ulsterman. In 2020, I won the CFLT Short Story Competition and completed my first novel in 2022.
My screenplay Be There became a short film in early 2024 while my screenplay There Exists Darkness and Light won the Special Mention Award at the 2024 Waterford International Film Festival.
